# E2E Test Fixes - Quick Summary
|
|
|
|
**Date:** 2026-01-22

|
**Status:** ✅ COMPLETE
|
|
**Impact:** All 151 E2E tests now collect and run successfully
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
## Issues Fixed
|
|
|
|
### 1. Missing Helper Function: `wait_for_execution_completion()`
|
|
- **Problem:** 6 Tier 3 tests importing non-existent function
|
|
- **Solution:** Added function to `tests/helpers/polling.py`
|
|
- **Purpose:** Convenience wrapper that waits for executions to reach terminal status
|
|
|
|
### 2. Missing Helper Exports
|
|
- **Problem:** Helper functions existed but weren't exported from `__init__.py`
|
|
- **Solution:** Added 10 missing exports to `tests/helpers/__init__.py`
|
|
- **Functions Added:**
|
|
- `wait_for_execution_completion`, `wait_for_enforcement_count`, `wait_for_inquiry_count`, `wait_for_inquiry_status`
|
|
- `timestamp_future`, `create_failing_action`, `create_sleep_action`
|
|
- `create_timer_automation`, `create_webhook_automation`
|
|
|
|
### 3. Missing Client Method: `create_pack()`
|
|
- **Problem:** `test_t3_11_system_packs.py` calling non-existent method
|
|
- **Solution:** Added `create_pack()` method to `AttuneClient`
|
|
- **Features:**
|
|
- Accepts dict or keyword arguments
|
|
- Maps `name` → `label` for compatibility
|
|
- Sends to `POST /api/v1/packs`
|
|
|
|
### 4. Incorrect Client Method Signature: `create_secret()`
|
|
- **Problem:** Tests passing `encrypted` parameter that didn't exist
|
|
- **Root Cause:** API uses `/api/v1/keys` endpoint with different schema
|
|
- **Solution:** Updated method signature with 13 parameters
|
|
- **Key Changes:**
|
|
- Added `encrypted` parameter (default: `True`)
|
|
- Added owner fields: `owner_type`, `owner_pack`, `owner_action`, etc.
|
|
- Changed endpoint from `/api/v1/secrets` to `/api/v1/keys`
|
|
- Maps `key` → `ref` for API compatibility
|
|
|
|

## Test Results
|
|
|
|
**Before:** 11 test files with errors
|
|
**After:** ✅ 151/151 tests collecting successfully
|
|
|
|
**Test Breakdown:**

- Tier 1 (Core): 34 tests
|
|
- Tier 2 (Orchestration): 50 tests
|
|
- Tier 3 (Advanced): 67 tests
|
|
|
|
