Technical Highlights
1. Parallel Workflow Execution
Implemented tests for parallel task execution where multiple actions run concurrently within a workflow. Validated that:
- Tasks execute simultaneously without blocking
- Workflow waits for all parallel tasks to complete
- Parent workflow tracks child task executions
2. Conditional Workflow Logic
Tested if/else branching in workflows based on:
- Parameter values
- Previous task results
- Inquiry responses (approve/deny)
- Conditional execution paths validated
3. Webhook Chaining
Complex webhook chains tested:
- HTTP runner triggering other webhooks
- Multi-level cascades (A→B→C)
- Data transformation through chains
- Async propagation through HTTP calls
4. Multi-Step Approvals
Human-in-the-loop workflows with:
- Sequential approval gates (3+ levels)
- Conditional approvals based on responses
- Timeout and escalation logic
- Denial stops subsequent execution
5. Rule Notification Tracking
Comprehensive notification metadata validation:
- Rule trigger events tracked
- State changes (enable/disable) captured
- Multiple rules from single event handled
- Criteria evaluation results tracked
