Test Patterns Established

Workflow Orchestration Pattern

# Create workflow with parallel tasks
workflow_payload = {
    "entry_point": {
        "tasks": [
            {
                "name": "parallel_group",
                "type": "parallel",
                "tasks": [
                    {"name": "task_1", "action": action1_ref},
                    {"name": "task_2", "action": action2_ref},
                    {"name": "task_3", "action": action3_ref},
                ]
            }
        ]
    }
}

Webhook Chain Pattern

# Create HTTP action to trigger next webhook
http_action_payload = {
    "runner_type": "http",
    "entry_point": f"{api_url}/webhooks/{webhook_b_ref}",
    "metadata": {
        "method": "POST",
        "headers": {"Content-Type": "application/json"},
        "body": "{{ parameters.payload }}"
    }
}

Multi-Step Approval Pattern

# Sequential inquiries in workflow
workflow_payload = {
    "entry_point": {
        "tasks": [
            {"name": "manager_approval", "action": inquiry1_ref},
            {"name": "director_approval", "action": inquiry2_ref},
            {"name": "vp_approval", "action": inquiry3_ref},
            {"name": "execute", "action": final_action_ref},
        ]
    }
}

Conditional Workflow Pattern

# If/else branching
{
    "name": "conditional_branch",
    "type": "if",
    "condition": "{{ initial_response == 'approve' }}",
    "then": {"name": "vp_approval", "action": vp_inquiry_ref},
    "else": {"name": "denied", "action": denial_action_ref}
}
