Session Summary: Pack Registry Phases 3 & 4 Complete

Executive Summary

Successfully completed Phases 3 and 4 of the Pack Registry system, adding:

  • Phase 3: Installation metadata tracking, storage management, checksum generation
  • Phase 4: Dependency validation, progress reporting, index generation tools

The pack registry system is now feature-complete for core use cases with production-ready capabilities for pack distribution, installation, validation, and authoring.


Phase 3: Enhanced Installation Process

Objectives Achieved

  1. Installation metadata tracking in database
  2. Pack storage management with versioning
  3. Checksum generation CLI command
  4. Enhanced error handling (I/O error type)
  5. Integrity verification utilities
